Waterpik XAS 649E PowerPulse Massage Brushed Review

ALL PLASTIC and very cheaply made. Can't stop licking and can't adjust the shower head. There is no pressure even with the water saver and short hose removed. They used to buy all irrigators and have always been satisfied, but not with this one. Too cheap! Don't waste money.

Hose is not flexible. Considering it was a WaterPix and the seller's picture didn't show the hose connection very clearly, I assumed it was a corrugated flexible hose. The shower head does not stay in place with the included hose. I ordered a flexible hose for an additional $8 that works much better. I would advise against purchasing this product.

This is the 4th shower massage product I have tried, the 2nd from Waterpik. The C-shaped hanger you hang your shower head on is NEVER big enough. There's no way to hang it, and if you press on it, the crappy plastic handle (a robotic arm, à la a Jetson maid, I think) just snaps. The Waterpik PowerPulse portable therapeutic massage head has a great shower head with 8 water settings. Even at 1.6 GPM, the power of the water is enough to massage, drench the body and rinse off soap, shampoo and rinse aid. The disadvantage is the short hose, which is easily kinked. In the meantime I've ordered an 8ft hose (based on other reviews) and I'm glad I did. The long hose allows me to wash our dog. The 8ft hose also allows the user to use the shower head while lying in the tub.

Wow, things have changed. I am exchanging my 10 year old Waterpik showerhead for a new one. The new one is actually much cheaper. The old one had a chrome fitting on the water outlet and a steel hose. The new one has a black plastic connector and plastic hose that is ugly and won't straighten. So WaterPic should remove that name and rename it to something like CheepAzCrp. Believe all the reviews complaining about the disappointing five foot hose that came with this shower head.
