Works up to the top of the sock

I hiked the Narrows in Utah with friends. If this is the trip that you're thinking about using the socks for, it's a waste of money. They worked until the top of the socks. The narrows water is waist high and my socks filled with water for five hours of the hike. Overall, if the water was below the top, they would have worked. I have no use for them beyond the trip. I scuba dive and they will not work for scuba. It May be useful for fishing or hiking in water below the knees.

Pros
  • Great for use in wet and muddy conditions
Cons
  • The waterproof material may cause the feet to feel clammy

PNW approved on my review.

Pretty spot on product, haven't used them hiking yet. Definitely comfortable for cycling during summer rain showers. Very happy so far!

Pros
  • I warned them only three times, so far a really like them. They are not too thick or hot
Cons
  • They may slip and cause discomfort during extended hikes

Not waterproof - my new review

Bought them for a Spartan race, when you have to run through some water & practiced running in the rain. Not only are they not waterproof but, they retain water inside the sock

Pros
  • Perfect for those with active lifestyles
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for people with sweaty feet

You can feel the neoprene

I ordered these out of curiosity because I've never experienced waterproof socks. I was interested in learning if they could be useful in some capacity since I live in an area where we experience torrential downpours every day during the warmer monthsI wondered if these might be helpful to keep my feet dry since I often have to walk through deep puddles to and from my car. It's very uncomfortable to wear wet shoes and socks all day at the office. There was no size listed on the packaging, but…

Pros
  • Helps to keep feet cool and dry during physical activities
Cons
  • They may cause discomfort if worn for extended periods of time

Quick breakdown: Pros: truly water proof, warm and well made. Very rugged and snug fit.Cons: they are super thick, keep that in mind for the type of shoes you choose for them.I live in south Louisiana, it is a wet humid climate. While these socks are more for "colder" weather areas, they will fit my purpose of hunting, fishing and barn use during the wet winter months. However, right now we are in the heat of summer and they might be a little warm for some people. I'll give you another use for…

Pros
  • Provides excellent traction and grip on slippery surfaces
Cons
  • The socks may not be available in all foot sizes

Comfortable and work

I use this product for fishing when I may need to step in water less than knee deep. I have used 1 time and was happy with how they worked

Pros
  • Outer: 61% waterproof nylon,32% polyester,7% elastane; Inter: 100% waterproof and breathable membrane; Lining: 66% coolmax,30% polyester,4% elastane.
Cons
  • They may not be fashionable enough for some consumers

Okay, Maybe. best in my review

My first time trying these kind of socks, Performed well for shallow river crossings where the water stays below the end of the sock. But for those who spend a little more time in the water fishing or etc, you'll find that your feet still get wet at the end of the day, but "not as wet."There is no insulation on these socks, So I would recommend buying one size larger so that you can fit a insulating layer underneath. When you're drying these in the dryer, I noticed the inside layer stays wet and

Pros
  • Keeps feet dry and warm even in wet environments
Cons
  • The socks may not be versatile enough for all outdoor activities

Super thick for my opinion

These waterproof socks are made in China. They feel (and sound) like they have some type of foam liner inside. There is no fabric content listed anywhere on the package or the sock so I am not sure what materials were used. They are good looking socks with a bright yellow-orange and blue on a black background and gray on the foot area. They feel great on and seem to prevent even air from getting inside. I will update after they have been used on a long hike but for now these socks appear very…

Pros
  • Can be layered with other socks for added warmth and comfort
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for activities that require high ankle flexibility

We both tried them on

He loved them. I have dancer's calves and found them to be tight on me. So he wears them. They did feel very comfortable on my feet and ankles, but ouch on the calf area. He said they were waterproof if just splashing through but he didn't test them by diving into a pool

Pros
  • Offers excellent value for money
Cons
  • The socks may cause chafing or blisters during extended use
