I bought these cases to use for an Arduino project with a 1602 LCD / keypad shield. It looked like the inside dimensions were just big enough to let the shield snug in, but nope, the corners of the shield juuust overlap with the case's corner screw lugs. Too bad; it's a great case for the project otherwise. Used this for the choke on a ham radio dipole antenna. So far, after three years, it has only faded a little bit and the seal has maintained its weather resistance.

Love these project boxes, however one of my boxes did not have screws to assemble the box and top-cover. I will pick these up at a local hardware store. It would be nice to see all of the hardware accompany each project box.

I did purchase multiple units for my project. For the asking price I was expecting little bit better finish cosmetically. Unfortunately there are sprue sticking, scratches or undercuts, and some permanent molding flaws from factory on all four sides as if the plastic material seems to have stuck away from the mold when manufactured during the plastic injection molding process.Despite these flaws the box otherwise is functional but if you are obsessively compulsive of things to be perfect then…

I used this to put a larger battery on my Honda walk behind mower so it would be easier to start. I can see multiple uses for this box. Hobbiest could use it for multiple configurations for electronic projects.

Needed a project box for a car - drop top so the idea of a tight enclosure was a plus. But the challenge is not that, but how they accommodate the box mounting screws - the interior 'pockets' are huge, so that the box I had to chose is WAY bigger than the circuit board - probably wasting 40% of the space, and making the box much bigger.

I do construction and find these boxes so convenient for all sorts of different uses. My last job, I had to extend the security cameras out, flush with the new house siding and these were the perfect custom option for mounting the cameras to and looking good esthetically.
