Direct Replacement Water Filtration and Softening

I've been having some issues with the taste of the water in the fresh water tank on my 2019 Rockwood 2304DS camper trailer. The original filter was 2 years old. I replaced it with this new one (10 minute job) and the problem is solved. Well done design. I will buy again.

Pros
  • Tools and Household Products
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

A good replacement for a water filter.

You should replace the water filter in your motorhome every year. This is a great replacement for the KW1 filter that came with our trailer. This is a direct replacement that requires no modifications. When washing the new filter, no residue came off our faces.

Pros
  • Accessories for kitchen and bathroom
Cons

This doesn't work in the Forest River Micro Lite

I just finished decontaminating our Micro Lite RV for the first time. I wanted to replace a new water filter I bought in December and it doesn't fit. The product description says it fits Forest River Camper but not Micro Lite. The last return day was 2 weeks ago, so now I don't have $25 for a filter I can't use.

Pros
  • Replacing the under sink water filter
Cons
  • It's ok

Broken Filter - Replacement Water Filter

I installed this filter on my RV and went to the campground on June 8th and hooked up the water to the RV. I soon found that water had entered the bathroom floor of my RV. I checked the filter and found it was leaking. After turning off the water and washing the floor, I checked the filter. I found the coal insert was broken in half. I didn't notice this during installation as the outer filter cloth appeared to be intact. It was the right replacement filter for my water system. I gave it one…

  • Water Filtration & Softener
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled
