It works, but there are much better options out there.

It works but the documentation is a joke and there is no community base. I basically had to work out all the details myself. Next time I'll buy Ala-Mode or Arduino.

Great product, maybe needs a little tweaking.

A very nice addition to the PI 2. Extremely versatile and handy, especially if you want your PI to participate in the XBEE network as the master brain for some Arduinos. My only complaint is the weird pin header used to expose the GPIO pins on this board. They resemble spikes more than pins. They literally have sharp ends.

Great combination of features

This Raspberry PI daughter board has a great combination of features. It supports Arduino Shields in addition to ADC, real time clock and USB UART interface. There are many other features too. I haven't tested it yet, but the quality of the board is excellent, so I'm sure everything will be fine. I plan to use it for robotics with a motor control shield I already have for my Arduino. The price is great for many features. I'll post an update once I've written some code to try it out.

Pros
  • Computer and accessories
Cons
  • Cables shorter than other models

I love the real time clock and A/D conversion, but it lacks a programmable chip that allows the Arduino to interact with the world and work with most shields. I bought a Dragino Yun shield to go with it and I can't figure out how to use the Raspberry Pi with it because there is no AVR chip to program with. There just isn't enough documentation or examples, and I highly recommend you avoid this product unless you consider yourself an Arduino and Raspberry Pi programming pro and can point the way

Pros
  • Single Board Computer
Cons
  • Compatibility
