A very good product at a great price.

Good for attaching the transom. Love the fact that the hooks are coated on both ends and the top hook has a lock. I've lost my seat belt in the past so the lock should prevent that from happening again. The buckle has a protective pad to prevent accidentally scratching my boot. The extra webbing can be folded and secured under the velcro strips or cut to the desired length (which I did as my 19ft boat doesn't need a long webbing). Great price compared to online boat sites or activity shops. The

Well made, well detailed

transom mounts for 18ft aluminum fishing boats Straps should wrap partially around the transom and the buckle has a strong lining protecting the boat from the back of the buckle. I like the snaps on both hooks. Even if the straps are not properly tightened, the hooks will not come loose. The latch that keeps the buckle closed feels light; It works, but I don't know how long it will be before wear and tear reduces its effectiveness. I bought 4 packs of these straps for a boat I just bought that was to be shipped from Texas to Virginia. I have been in the Coast Guard for 28 years and was taught to attach 2 straps to the rear of the boat to prevent the boat from slipping off the trailer and 2 straps to the front of the boat to keep the boat from falling into the trailer slips taxi. truck in an accident.
