Okay, I'm not very smart about these things, but I had a "problem" with the setup. I used "Wizard" to set it up as an access point; When I was done I still had a signal at over 800 feet. The only problem is that even though I "forgot" the main router on my device, it never asked me for a password! It allowed me to connect and let everyone connect as an open router! LAN Bridge/Access Point (AP) configuration used. Connected to a router with CAT5e on a 1GB network. I used Power over Ethernet to provide full performance. Tested both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Our Verizon FiOS router (Quantum Gateway) is hidden behind the TV on the first floor. The WiFi signal from this one travels through the walls about 75 feet outside the home. Tried WaveLink AC1200 from inside a 2nd floor window. Same 75 foot lot line. Attempts to install outside the home at 20 feet off the ground.
