LAN Bridge/Access Point (AP) configuration used. Connected to a router with CAT5e on a 1GB network. I used Power over Ethernet to provide full performance. Tested both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Our Verizon FiOS router (Quantum Gateway) is hidden behind the TV on the first floor. The WiFi signal from this one travels through the walls about 75 feet outside the home. Tried WaveLink AC1200 from inside a 2nd floor window. Same 75 foot lot line. Attempts to install outside the home at 20 feet off the ground. Range increased to 90 feet in a straight line before total loss. In my experience, after about 50 feet, any obstacle will block the signal. So for me, there's no real improvement over our current router, and nothing close to the hundreds of feet claimed by other reviews. Downgraded from 3 stars to 2 stars because "Documentation" is completely useless.
