This 2D chess game is like playing chess on a computer or phone. The flat parts make it very portable and easy to store in a binder or small package. As it is magnetic and with a little care it can save your last game without breaking apart. The price is reasonable $15/pc.

I usually love 3D chess but when traveling or in the park it can be uncomfortable even if it's magnetic. I liked the size of this board and the amount of chips in it. Sizing is easy to see and understand unlike some small folding sets. The entire set folds up like a briefcase for easy portability. If you have favorite 3D shapes, you can use them on this board if you like.

This is a great travel chess set to take to the park or to an outdoor concert. Unlike small 6 inch checkbook sets, this size is large enough to easily play the game with someone else. It's easy to transport and unlike any other style sets I've found, it offers built-in storage for chips to take with you during gameplay. I have already ordered an 8 inch monitor like this to carry around with me to analyze the games I play online.
