Ideal! in equestrian sport

After buying 2 nylon halters aged 1 to 3 months none fit properly, this halter is perfect with many adjustments on both sides of the back of the head. With a figure-of-eight guide under the jaw, no further adjustments are required. Well made product.

Pros
  • everything is fine!
Cons
  • Low repairability

Excellent quality - halter

I've always been a fan of Weaver leather products. This little halter will not disappoint you as it is made of high quality leather and has brass buckles. Comes with two head straps for different height kids. I always feel a lot calmer when I have to leave a halter to a child wearing this style. Thanks weaver skin!

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Good reason for a filly best in other sports

First of all I like that it is an outlier. skin of good thickness. It takes a second to break but I love it. The included foal leash is very practical and came in handy! It was too big for her until she was a few weeks old but we Jimmy set it up so we could use it right away and everything was fine. Now she is a month and a half old and still has a lot of room to grow.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Some flaws

Very strong but tough.

I love this style of foal halter. I have some. This one is too stiff and a bit big for a Quarter Horse foal under a month old. I use it a lot more now as my foals are 30-60 days old but almost outgrown it. I would never leave a foal as a foal except in a secure stable. Halters get tangled, foals can really hurt themselves. Just thought I'd add that.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not sure

Better than you expect and this strap will keep you healthy

Very basic foal halter. Nice that it comes with two crown pieces to "grow up" with the foal. (Bonus: This adjusts both sides of the crown, which is way better than a single adjustment point.) The lanyard *looks* like it's easy to lose, but I've used these halters on a few foals and the lanyard comes with safe for everyone. No issues with metal or skin chafing or signs of discomfort.

Pros
  • Equestrian
Cons
  • Minor problems

Very good quality halter

Very good quality halter. I like that it's soft and easy to work with. I was also happy that it fits several foals of different sizes besides one newborn. I was disappointed that it fits very loosely on a newborn's face and I couldn't get it to work. A fishing line is a great little addition. He really doesn't hang around and doesn't get in the way. Having two different parts of the crown was also very handy and having two different adjustment points was a great help and made dressing a foal…

The perfect halter to keep growing!

I love this halter! I used it when my little boy was a week old and now he is almost 3 months old. Every time he's let out of the pen with his mother, he has to wear it, and now he looks forward to being stopped. Great quality and both sides of the halter are adjustable and it comes with a second piece of leather if it has an even bigger head to further adjust it. Cheating - I left it while he was twisted and as he ran I noticed the trick of the rope swinging and hitting him in the face, he…
