Very well made, smooth surfaces and edges prevent imprints on the leather as it moves towards the rivet head. The doming cup adapts perfectly to the size of the rivet. Definitely recommend! I've tried others, this one is by far the best in my opinion.

Item works as described. The surface is not polished as shown in the photo. The tool is very heavy which I like, just wish they had spent a little more time polishing the surface which makes a difference. As for the domed part, I give it 3.5 stars because it is not perfectly polished to keep your rivets perfectly domed. Recommend 4/5 overall

We ordered a size 9 and a size 12 and both came milled and the holes were plugged with grease and metal shavings. After cleaning the holes, we found that they are both exactly the same size, meaning the holes are the same size. One of the end holes is not drilled through, so definitely defective. As they are both the same size but marked as 9 and 12 we don't know which is which and will be returning both. Very disappointed as they look nice but the quality leaves a lot to be desired.

Overall it's great for setting rivets. I had no issues with rough handling or other quality control issues. It has been lightly oiled to prevent rust, this was quickly cleaned with a rag. I'm still a leather lover but this tool, along with the matching CS Osborne copper rivets, has really improved the quality and strength of my work. This helped solve some of the initial problems I had when the domed part of the riveter wasn't as efficient as I would have liked.
