I'm so glad I bought this harness. I have a mare who always gets ulcers behind her elbows no matter what size I put on her. I rode it and not a single wound! I am very happy!

I love this harness but this is the third mohair blend harness I have ordered in the last few years that was mislabeled. I also ordered a 30" and it was labeled correctly.

Recommended as something that doesn't irritate our field trial horses. We're still trying, but it worked the first time. They seem to stretch a bit so they can work for more than one size.

I have a good mohair girth (different brand and 2 inches longer) but it stretches a little which is normal but a bit too long for my horse so I decided to get one 28 inches. I have erosive osteoarthritis in my hands and I was attracted to the snug fitting buckle. It works better than I expected and I never have to ask for help, which I've had to do fairly regularly. The scope itself is comparable to what I had, which is why I'm buying Weaver.

I've tried a number of different harnesses with no luck. My mare was getting angrier. I've finally tried this mohair garter since I've been using it years ago (I'll say 50 years) and never had a problem. Voila! Success! I am happy and so is my mare. Just because people say it's "new and approved" doesn't mean it is! Sometimes they've been right from the start, and this is one of those times. Do yourself and your horse a favor and try one of these. I doubt you'll ever switch to a different scope

I was so excited when this strap arrived. I think straps are the way to go, but I've never seen a soft, well-made buckle that won't rust. I have used this strap with Latigo to hold the saddle pad while riding bareback. I was very disappointed when the strings started breaking after a few uses. I still use it, but it doesn't look nice anymore. I wouldn't trust him with a saddle, but riding with saddle pads and without a saddle is certainly ok. Still, I love the company.

So happy with my purchase here and it just fits perfectly. Great quality at a great price. I would give 10 stars if possible. These are the only girths I like to use and this girth replaces the old girth my horse had. Bought a new saddle for this and due to differences in saddle manufacture a smaller girth size was required.
