Weaver Leather Poly Roper Rein Review

Very comfortable, pleasant to the touch. Variety of colors to choose from. A little short for us. They end a few inches in my QH mare's mane. As a result, I ordered a longer set, unfortunately without a color choice.

Exactly as in the description. Simple weaver reins, they have a great color. They are very light. They're clearly not as good as yacht reins or other more expensive reins you can get, but if you just want something simple and light then they're perfect for that.

As expected. They are quite thin but measure as advertised. I seem to want something that isn't available, a little shorter but also a little thicker. But they are good for what I do. I love that they have clips on both ends and I can easily attach them to the side hooks of a standard halter.

The length is great for the horse. I bought these to attach a horn to keep his head up so he can't graze while riding. It's easier for my hands not to pull his mean head up, and he knows he needs to "check" first, if there's resistance he doesn't even try to eat. They attach well to the side pull we use.

I already had these purple ones and loved them so I knew they would be durable and easy to use. I liked this color to match the saddle. At this price why not? They snap easily into place, making changing reins and headgear a breeze. I love being able to easily clip them to my halter for fast bareback riding. I am sure that I will soon take other colors.

These reins are the perfect length and I don't have to worry about grooming them or getting them wet. I also like that there is a clip on both sides. Very practical for use as a leader. Also, we're super stylish now. Nothing compares to a burly painted mare with dressage saddle, bitless bridle and rope reins lol :)

I'm very picky about my reins, they just have to be a certain weight, they have to feel right I'm my hands and I don't like any of them sagging, or i think i played around with them all over the place but they were a foot longer than my others and i love them and the color just contrasts with my palomino and his breast collar and headgear are about the same color everything on it is just plain Excellent!

This is a standard soft nylon braided rein with a leather whip at the end and a very nice buckle closure to attach to the snaffle. Great for my mini gelding who is a big mini but too small for a pony outfit. The young man who trains him, the teenager, has no "0" complaints, neither do I. Good buy, good price. Decent delivery time after purchase.

I ordered these reins because my horse stepped on leather reins that I have used for years and they broke and I never got around to fixing them.
