Well made, affordable price

This knife is durable and quite sharp. Four stars because I haven't tried sharpening it. Another star if I can make it sharper.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • There are flaws

Didn't know I was buying a butter knife

It must be a hoof knife, it won't cut you even if you try. Stupid isn't the word I would use to describe what a useless piece of junk it is. Now for the handle. A butter knife would have been more useful. It is too small for the intended task and has sharp edges. Please don't waste your time and money on whatever it is.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Bad impression

Excellent knife for other sports

Excellent knife, arrived nice and sharp. I actually use them to clean diamond willow sticks and it works great. Plus lots of sharp, well finished, good quality for ironwork.

You get what you pay for.

Restricted use. They weren't even remotely sharp out of the box. They usually need frequent sharpening, so I was willing to sharpen them anyway. The curved tip broke off on the third cut from the left. Waiting for replacement.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Available in white only

I bought this to help trim my horse's hoof. I figured since it's a bit more expensive and has a "brand name" it would work even if I had to sharpen it right away. no The steel is thin so the blade doesn't have much leverage and even after sharpening I was disappointed. So I did what I had to do and researched the "best hoof knife". Just ordered an anvil knife and fingers crossed.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibrations
Cons
  • No power

damaged and cheap ready to use

MY THOUGHTS: I received this with the intention of testing it and seeing if it could serve as a specialty blade in the workshop for whatever I need ( styrofoam , softwood, whatever). The price is what it is, I wasn't expecting much, again I've seen videos of people working on hooves and wanted to check one out. When delivered, the edge of the blade is not only completely blunt, but also jingles up and down. I might try putting a blade on her for kicks and giggles, but I'm not entirely sure it's

Pros
  • certified
Cons
  • cord is shorter than others
