This is my first experience with a collar. My horse definitely liked it better than the traditional bib. He was able to move his shoulders more freely and I was able to adjust it so it didn't press on his neck, which was an issue I've had with other collars before. The skin is dense, durable, the seams are good. It feels like it's going to take a long time. The leather has been pre-impregnated with oil and is therefore more supple than most new leathers. I definitely recommend this product
