Great for removing bran from flour

We mill our own wheat and needed something to remove the bran. So far we have used it on ground, hard, red winter wheat and are very satisfied. We will post more as we separate the bran from other wheats.

Great quality but better than I thought

Smaller sieve has bigger holes - perfect for homemade flour. A larger sieve is about what you need for powdered sugar. Too good for my needs. I am very happy with it and use it often.

Just perfect! - Food Strainer

One of the best items I have purchased for my kitchen. big is better I use it to strain cheese, flour, spices and more. so helpful. Real stainless steel. Hasn't rusted yet. Easy to clean. Hand wash and dry on a dryer mat.

Paners please! - Colanders and food strainers

Bought these for cheese making. and I made cheese! I was expanding my culinary horizons and needed them for Paneer. Paneer without cheese is not the same! Are they easy to clean? No, but I have trouble cleaning any item that looks like this. I bought a cute cat grooming item from Daiso, so next time I'll brush her with it.

Has helped bring home ground flour closer to industrial milled products.

I bought these to sift unground bran particles from ground white durum berries to get a finer flour. They meet all requirements well; However, I still end up with a coarser flour than industrial flour. It may have been my grinder, but these screens gave me a finished product that was better than when I started. They appear to be very durable and I appreciate the hanging loops on the sides for easy storage.

Two sets, the larger one having a smaller cell size compared to the smaller one having a larger cell size.

Q&A says "The smaller (6") is a 40 mesh and the larger (8") is a 60 mesh "My two of the pieces are reversed size, the 8" has a smaller size of 60 mesh and the 6" has a larger size of 40 mesh. I find that a smaller mesh size is more desirable for a larger screen and vice versa. only confused or mixed up the cell sizes. US/Tyler cell size is in reverse numerical order compared to microns or millimeters. So far so good for making gallons of coffee/espresso from the pressure cooker!

The best filters I've ever had.

I'm usually wary of buying a product that doesn't have reviews but I'm so glad I took the risk. After dealing with the typical fragile filters over the years, I've learned not to expect too much. These totally blew my mind. Their construction is surprisingly strong and well-made. Fantastic design and the use of silicone keep them from slipping like others I've had in the past.
