I really like that it has a base instead of a clamp. It also seems smaller than other clip models which I prefer. The only thing I don't particularly like is that the bar doesn't fit into the base very well. He just seems to be sitting on it and not fully inserted. I've knocked it out of base many times, which worries me about how long my expensive mic will last. I might try hammering the top of the arm so it goes deeper into the base and doesn't fall out, I just prefer not to mess up the curve

Thought it would be better than the clamp on the desk mounts. Not this one. It doesn't stay in place and the pole goes out of the base all the time. Untenable. Very disappointed. Find another solution.

I love the strength of the stand and the camera mount adapters is great but when I first used the phone holder it broke into 3 pieces.

Bought for use with a webcam provided by my school. I'm a teacher and this has allowed me to turn my webcam into a document camera. The stand is strong and flexible.

I have this "webcam stand" to use with my phone for top down recording on my desktop with my Galaxy S10+ (soon to be S21 Ultra). In this application, I immediately changed the mount from the tripod mount to the cell phone mount. I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the phone holder. Right out of the box, the thread on the ball joint had large notches, making it difficult to screw it in.
