I had no trouble connecting the camera and it worked right away. The auto focus works well. It can focus very close to the camera. However, since it has a relatively wide-angle lens, anything further than about a foot away will still be sharp. So the only benefit of autofocus is that you want to show a smaller subject like a credit card and keep it a few inches from the camera. The picture becomes clear. This camera is more than adequate for zoom meetings. Good quality, works very well in low light, good sound, tripod mount - can't really fault anything.
