Better than a stick in the eye, my mother says.

I name BS in non-stick language in the description. I had a terrible time trying to make meatballs. The only good thing about these tongs is that they portion the meat. The problem is that the meat doesn't come out in a ball every time and I spent a lot of time changing the shape of the portion. You should also clean the area around the tongs with each spoon when using something like meat or cookie dough.

Cons
  • mindlessly made

Awkward to use

The good thing is that all the balls are the same size and they were much quicker to use than making them entirely by hand. The downsides are that I had to oil them several times to keep them from sticking and they are extremely cumbersome to use. The handles are very thin and dig into your fingers with just a little pressure. I think there should be rubber pads around the finger holes. I will use them again until I find something better.

Great idea but needs adjustment

Bought this 4 months ago and tried it on a variety of things. Meatballs, cookie dough, melon balls, etc. I really wanted to love them, or at least love them, but today they went in the trash. They worked to create balls of the same shape. However, I was only able to make a few of these before it got too cumbersome to go back to my old cutter. The handles dig into my thumb and forefinger. The edges of the metal holes are a bit thin and square. If I used them for a long time, I would definitely…

Decent quality, design problem

I bought them for making turkey meatballs but the design let them down. "Nonstick" is just a name and an ambitious goal. The meatball will crumble everywhere except where the cups come together. So when you put it in the pan you'll end up with two halves if you're lucky, or the mixture will stick to both sides and you'll have to smack it against the pan. Pan and then you'll get random pieces that don't look like a ball at all. I've tried chilling the meatball mixture, adding more binder, and…
