Very important. Works well.

Feed motor replaced due to incorrect diagnosis (actually there was a switch in the handle). Works just as well as the original. The struts on the engine were upside down, so give feedback first. Changed the cable and it's fine. Now I have a backup feeder.

later the motor and gearbox are adequate and powerful but the holes weren't perfectly aligned for my thermal arc 131 wire feeder. I had to fabricate an adapter plate out of 1/4" aluminum to line it up properly, so make sure you get your measurements right. gave it 5 stars because it works great and has a stronger roller wheel, which is what I think Plus point is, wasn't expecting this style when I bought it also has 2 wire size options for the top reel.

Enough power to ensure stable wire flow

original review 12-5-20: engine received a day early. Out of the box the engine was new and in good condition. Comparing my original engine to the replacement engine, they were exactly the same, even matching all the bolt holes. Installing my new engine was very easy, I was up and running in 5,10 minutes max. It seems strong enough to provide constant and stable wire feed during welding. So far so good, now I just have to wait and see how long it actually lasts before needing a replacementโ€ฆ
