Good things - welding machines

The welding cable is very easy to use. Did a project using this material for DC wiring and Romex for AC and wish I could do anything with this material. High quality cables, nice copper inside, fun to work with. No complaints

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Damaged

Worked fine for my 12v battery.

Connected 6 deep cycle batteries with this cable, spade lug and copper sleeves. Works well to power my 2500w continuous inverter with a max power of 5000w. Tested at over 1.5kW continuously for 10 minutes.

Pros
  • Cool item
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Not even close to welders

Definitely a 6 gauge product. Will not even fit in a fully crimped 4 gauge spade lug. Good for 6 gauge, I have several brands of tips. I also compared to some other 6 gauges I had and they were almost identical. Order wire elsewhere.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Only available in white

Nice and flexible for welding and soldering

Great wire except standard #4 crimp connectors will not fit due to the type of stranded wire used. The ends of the wires must be tinned with solder to make the bare wire stiff enough. Please note that a professional crimping tool is used for this.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • I will add later

Also, be careful around 4 AWG wire!

This wire is not genuine 4 AWG as many say. It appears to be high quality copper wire, but very small. All of the jacketed wires will fit all of my 4 gauge crimps and I have all types and brands. return today

Pros
  • Annual Trial
Cons
  • Some Cons

Best price per foot I could find

Using the copper lugs I bought with the crimping tool I was able to make some short leads for my battery powered handheld. , a power supply that carries more than enough current for my needs. I don't have to worry about cable thickness or heat resistance as I don't plan on using a portable power supply for more power than the cable can handle.

Pros
  • IEC and RoHS Compliant
Cons
  • I'll add later

4 gauge, 0.25 inch diameter

I have read other reviews about size 4 not being true to size. However, I have measured that the diameter of 4 gauge wire is 0.25 inches and the standard says that the diameter of 4 gauge wire is 0.2043 inches. I've tried to install a 6 gauge connector plug on a 4 gauge cable without success. The 4 gauge fit into the 4 gauge ring slot with some visible extra clearance. At the moment I have not yet completed the installation of the electrical equipment, so I can only confirm the durability or…

Pros
  • Rated up to 600 volts, -50°C to +105°C (-58°F to +221°F).
Cons
  • Some errors

6 gauge wire, not even AWG, marked

This is not 4 gauge wire! come on guys The wire harness diameter is definitely smaller than what they state in their specs. Caliber #4 is clearly marked on the case. This is not the same as 4 AWG, which is misleading. Pretty good quality wire, not as flimsy as your high end "stinger" style car audio cables and certainly not as flexible, this stuff does really weird things when crimped, especially on short tip-toe's - Peak lengths. . You get what you pay for and these things are great for my…

Pros
  • Use the selection tabs above to select (1) wire size and (2) wire length and insulation color. Available in calibers 8 to 4/0. A table with specifications (amperage, voltage, twist, copper insulation and thickness, etc.) can be found in the photo gallery.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
