Not your old school welding mask!

Very different from traditional welding helmets. The large viewing platform is very good. Came with a replacement clear screen which is good if the original gets scratched.

No inventory control

Like the other reviewer, I didn't get the glowing spider helmet. Returned the first one and asked to exchange it for the correct version and received the same as the first time.

Light and comfortable

I really like this helmet. Comfortable, light and cool design. Good wide angle lens. The tension is easy to adjust so it stays up when I want it and goes down easily. It's great that there's also a replacement sign.

Big bright view of the headguard

I like the big window. I didn't have a helmet that needed batteries before. I'll see how it works. I had issues with ambient light shining from behind making it difficult to see. I blocked it with a t-shirt. I seem to be able to use a lighter shadow level setting.

1 star is too much for this

During TIG welding the hood kept switching from dark to light. No I didn't interrupt my arc, I checked the settings and the same battery problem changed the settings , the same problem. After my eyes burned out, I packed it up. I am a welder by trade and have several auto dimming fume hoods and have never had this problem. I can't find anything about customer service so I think 1 star is generous.
