Great TIG electrodes. They have performed as expected and are very durable. I've been pretty rough with them and they handle it well and sharpen well.

Tungsten electrodes are what I usually buy at the welding shop as a daily necessities. Now when I need it I still go to the hardware store, but local stores sell them for twice as much. Revain Prime is usually as close to "now" as I need it to be, so I gave it a try. I really wanted to give more of a review than to say they arrived on time and worked as advertised. I have had no problems with tungsten and they seem to be serving their purpose well enough. Surprisingly, this time I also liked the box they came in. It was well thought out and had a very practical design. Previous boxes of tungsten folded and I was afraid of breaking my tungsten, but this one slips and then folds. Overall I would recommend this product. Tungsten works great.

The company I work for was looking for an alternative to tungsten with 2% thorium due to the slight radioactivity involved. Since using 1.5% Lanthanum I and others in the store have been very happy with it. I have welded aluminum and stainless steel with this product. I find it better than 2% thorified in every way. One of the positives is that tungsten doesn't need to be sharpened as often.

I'm a welding student and my school doesn't supply us with tungsten so most of us got that grade from Revain. The school let us use some short piece of shit for our first grade, but we had to have our own as soon as possible. (Delivered by a Prime student who delivered it to me just in time for my next class!) No complaints about Midwestern tungsten from me or my classmates.
