Expensive but worked very well with a heavily oxidized tip. The good news is that you only use a small amount and don't have to do it often. I also switched to dry cleaning the brass rather than a wet sponge.

This is not a 2.3 inch 8 ounce can as you might guess from the description and pictures. This is a 1.5 inch 0.8 ounce can. "Weller 0051303199 Tip Tinner, Lead Free, 8 oz, Black" is the name of the product, but it's not the dot after "Free," it's the decimal point before "8." There are way cheaper ways to buy this crap - don't pay $17 for a small jar like me. I bought three of these. Live and learn I think.
