This gun works well with large terminals. It heats up well and relatively quickly. The biggest problem is the duty cycle, it is rated for 1 minute with 4 minutes rest, which is not even the standard 25% duty cycle based on a 10 minute cycle like all welders. The duty cycle of industrial welders is usually over 60%, which means they can work for 6 minutes and then rest for 4 minutes. My industrial welders have that. Soldering iron is so-so. Instead of the real emblem that the old ones have, a plastic emblem is glued on. It was (or NOT) fixed by an 8 year old who worked at an Amazon repair shop.
