For smoothing solder joints and broken plastic

This tip is excellent for smoothing solder joints and repairing broken plastic parts. I use it on Weller 150/300W soldering guns, you will definitely need bigger wires, plastic and faster soldering on all wire sizes.

Pros
  • Made of copper, for Weller soldering irons
Cons
  • Low repairability

Works great, HARD TO FIND

I used this tool to cut a plastic cover for a car cabin air filter. Cut clean and neat. When I went to replace it with a new tip I couldn't find it anywhere. They provided them quickly, easily, and at the right price.

Pros
  • Reach/Length 22.48mm/0.885in
Cons
  • Available in white only

Works great - exact replacement

Need a new one for my soldering iron. I use them to fix plastic, they work great and are easy to clean. I've also used it to fill metal holes without lead solder and then sanded them before painting to do some restoration work. This will take longer with a metal fill, but with extra heat from a heat gun or torch it's actually pretty quick.

Pros
  • Made of copper, for Weller soldering iron
Cons
  • Slightly cracked
