Might be a lifesaver

My elderly mother recently had chest pains and went to the hospital for an EKG. Everything went back to normal, but the doctor wanted her to leave some things at home. Well designed and easy to use 2-lead EKG with integrated smartphone app

This is a small device with two points of contact that is used to display the EKG waveform on the integrated OLED display as well as the supplied one serves app. The device can be used as the equivalent of a chest lead, lead I, or lead II, depending on the contact points. This machine seems to work fine. I mean I'm not a doctor and I don't have an actual EKG machine to compare but the readings appear accurate to me when I go to the doctor from what I know. Initially, charging took a long time, but not critical. The most important thing is how you rest in the pose - you need to make sure that the left is on the left and the right is on the right. The directions state that you'll get a stronger reading if you put your chest or a toe against a foot - but even so…

I am really impressed with this EKG machine. I'm sure it's not as accurate as the multi-pin and massive device used in my GP's office, but then again, it fits in a shirt pocket. You can use it with or without the app on your phone. Of course, you may see more waveforms on your phone than on your device's display. Oh and the OLED display which gives a very clear picture. Is it easy to use? Definitely yes. Perhaps the hardest part is waiting for the battery to fully charge for the first time. But
