Packaging fitted well customization worked well but packaging slippage remained over time and how to customize. Puppy wore it and saw no rubbing, and he didn't complain about short hikes of a few miles. The pockets worked great too and held his water, collapsible bowl and dog bags.

I loved it until the first time my dog jumped forward and COMPLETELY ripped out the harness. I was shocked. It may be suitable for small breeds but definitely not durable or strong enough for large dogs. We actually had to use tons of duct tape to hold it together. How embarrassing.

I bought a more expressive dog backpack for my very large (130lb) mixed breed dog another day and was incredibly disappointed in the end. I bought this and it's perfect. If you have a puppy that massive, don't be bothered by other packages that say "measure your dog" and expect it to fit. It won't fit. This one fits.

Match description/measurements. We use it for short (2-5 miles) trips to pick up roadside litter on flat terrain. It slips around a bit, but I also don't want to over-tighten it and irritate her, so I keep working with it. Having never carried a leash or backpack she tolerated it well so it should be quite comfortable and light. Holds about 6-8 12 ounce cans.
