I had wanted to buy an oscillating spindle sander for a long time before I decided to buy one. It has a 1/2 hp motor. and more power than many competitors that only have 1/5 HP motors. It comes with a complete set of different size rubber drums to fit different size sanding cylinders. When the nut on top of the cylinder is tightened, the rubber cylinder clears slightly to hold the sanding roller in place and prevent slipping. This system works very well.
