The manufacturer says that this is a fake

I bought it at the end of last year and have used it several times. After probably 5 or 6 rides the handle didn't go away on its own, I had to press one of the buttons on the side. So I contacted the manufacturer for a warranty repair. They started asking for pictures of the tags and labels that should be in the bag to prove it was real. Neither of them existed, so I couldn't have it repaired under warranty. When I contacted Revain to explain this, the foreign support person just couldn't…

Excellent bag. loose screws. terrible service.

I really like the bag, with one exception: this is the second time I've had trouble with the Patriot II's telescoping handle. Last time, after a few years of heavy use, the bottom buttons didn't retract, so I had to press them manually when I wanted to hide the handle (landing on an airplane). Bought new a few months ago. Like a minor redesign, especially the integrated padded laptop and iPad sleeves, but now the small torx screws at the top of the telescoping handle have loosened. Those two…

Great backpack on wheels!

I'm a photographer with back problems and needed something I could take with me to carry my camera and some lenses. That's great. It's big enough for 2-3 lenses including a decent sized zoom and my camera plus some supplies and snacks. I could even put my laptop in if I wanted to. I've only used it a few times so far but it seems very durable, the wheels seem to be able to withstand some wear and tear. I also have a Wenger backpack that I've been using for at least 6 years that has been through

The perfect wheeled backpack for the business traveler

I've been traveling a lot for work for almost three decades (mainly to East Asian countries) and actually always longer than ever - 3 months a year. Even as laptops and other devices have gotten smaller and lighter over the years, there is still the need to carry around many small peripherals, which inevitably adds weight and bulk. At some point I decided that I could no longer carry a large bag weighing over 15 pounds on my shoulder, be it a backpack or a crossbody bag, through those huge…

Tried two of these, disappointed both times

While the reviews for this bag were good and reasonably accurate, I was disappointed with this bag. I travel a lot for work and needed a reliable bag. Although the compartments and pockets are functional, the wheels began to squeak loudly and the screws in the retractable handle began to loosen, preventing the handle from falling into the pocket. This was very annoying, especially when I was outside and it was raining or holding up a leash on the plane because I had to use my…

Good compromise between backpack and trolley

Upgraded from 5 to 3 stars after some use due to quality. It's starting to fall apart. I still really like the design but for the price I would expect it to hold up better. While I really like it, it works pretty well as a backpack to go from baggage claim to rental car as a backpack and I really like it as a trolley bag to carry my computer. It has so much space. All in all a good compromise between a backpack and a wheeled bag. He switches between trolley and backpack in a matter of seconds…

My favorite computer bag on wheels!

I travel all the time. I love this bag so much, this is my third. I usually overload them with about 45-50 pounds. So it's no wonder that I wear it about every 3-4 years. If I had used it for its intended purpose and not been bursting at the seams I bet I would have lasted 6 or 7 or more years. I have to carry a lot of cables with me. and cables, converters, gauges, laptop, documents and protective gear. It has so much space that sometimes I even put a change of clothes in it. I also have to…

10 stars! Computers and accessories

In over 15 years of buying children's backpacks, this is the best. Finally a backpack worthy of 5-6 2 inch school books. The best part is that while it's a wheeled backpack, it doesn't feel as bulky as the storage inside. Our kid puts all the school books horizontally on the bottom of the main compartment, leaving half the space above for notebooks, pencil cases, small books, etc. The laptop pocket on the front ensures books cannot be squeezed in. Once you've tried rolling this backpack with…
