I was impressed at first thought the outer ring was plastic but it was metal. However the cables were broken and the rest of the unit was all plastic and it fell apart before we even installed it so we sent it back.

I like it like a light. As a fan, I was a bit disappointed. Even at altitude, it doesn't move much air. So if you don't want to just cool the room for air supply, that would be great. I just hoped it would help cool the room.

The lamp is adorable overall! The fan speed is great and it loves the oscillating feature. The backlight is adjustable, but I would like more. The lights also have color changing options, but it doesn't make a huge difference. Finally, I wish there was a way to mute the remote control.

Was very happy with this fan. But I've only been using it for a week and it started making these weird ticking noises and it's so loud! We don't even use a fan because it's very annoying. And the remote stopped working after a week. Also, it arrived nicked on the side so it looks a bit warped 🙁 Will definitely see if I can exchange it or get a refund.

As many reviews say it is thin and the film sags in the light. I also wish it was a little dimmer and easier to hook up the light to a switch other than the fan. Besides that, we were happy! The lighting options are good and the fan has a lot of speed even at low speeds. Removed is ok - could be a bit slimmer but not bad.

I love that the fan blades are fully enclosed, we have one near the bunk bed where a traditional ceiling fan is unsafe. The cut outs on the sides of the lamp are also cute for a child's room. The fan is quite powerful for its small size. My only criticism is that there is no pull chain or switch on the light, the only way to control it is with the remote, the light switch just turns the whole thing on or off.

This is an example that you get what you pay for. The fan feels and looks cheap. It's 90% plastic and if hit or hit hard enough it's likely to become permanently unbalanced and make noise as it spins. Happened to me on the way.
