MAXIMUM ARP TORQUE IS 75 FT-LBS. DO NOT EXCEED THIS

Not sure why other reviews say they break at 80 or 90 pounds of torque. ARP lugs have a maximum torque of 75 lbs. So if you think these cheap studs can take more than ARP. Then you are stupid. They're cheap for a reason. When using them, I try not to go over 60-65 feet because they curl. I would also recommend using them only once and then throwing them away cheaper for a new set. The threads seem to be messed up and sometimes the nuts won't come back after tightening.

Pros
  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • Upgradeable

BLOCK BREAK-IN. BUY $300 BOLTS

THIS had a brand new engine. Used these screws. Over time he must have gotten lost which has literally drained his head and that's not even fixable ($800). Bought a new head. ($800) Dressed her up to 90 pounds last night. Check back this afternoon before you put it all back together and you'd never think we screwed them up. When trying to tighten one (it was still spinning), it broke off in the block. We now have over 20 years of experience making racing engines and have never had this problem.

  • Head Bolt Kits
