This was done in a timely manner and I was able to remove the 6 drum header in about 20 minutes. I thought a vertical divider would allow me to use the cut top as a lid, but it doesn't. However, it is very useful when you want to burn kegs from locked kegs.

We have this and several others that are essentially the same design but with a curved blade. While both do the same job, this one is more difficult and time-consuming to use, goes forward rather than backward (which is more natural to all of us), and leaves a much more jagged and sharp edge. Enough for us to decide it's best to throw it away.

When I first used this it took about a minute to unclamp the keg lid to cut off . It was basically easy to use, just a matter of technique and I think I'll be faster soon. It seems like pretty tough work and cutting off the drum covers wasn't difficult. I would recommend this to most people, if you smash drums all day you might buy a super expensive automatic but it's a worthy product.
