Ideal for clean floors, but not suitable for carpets. The original, cheaper suction nozzle did both, but not as well as this nozzle on bare floors.

Love the large brush and the ability to connect the hose at different angles. Cleans much better than our original Vacuflo brush. Great price and service. Will definitely use this seller again.

If you have a 1.25" hose nozzle this is the best product of its kind. I have had a similar product from Miele and other manufacturers. My favorite is the appendix. When attached to my central vacuum nozzle, this brush is useless compared to my smaller AirVac floor brush. It has exposed areas in the horsehair (which I was specifically trying to avoid but thought it was a tougher horsehair from the picture) which greatly reduces suction. I can pick up cat hair and dust, but nothing solid like crumbs, kitty litter, small bits of chewed plant leaves (yes, I have cats!), etc. Also, the swivel doesn't allow one side of the brush to be lifted up easily. to cover
