Screw held in plastic. As soon as the scissors weaken, they no longer exist. The screw is tightened a few times and then breaks. As soon as the two blades separated I saw that there was no metal nut or thread on the bolt, just a plastic nut built into the handle.

Everyone needs a pair (or two) good scissors! They are well made, work well and look like they will last a long time. I got my son a pair because he was "crying with depression" wrapping a mountain of Christmas presents with terrible scissors lol. Very good price but would recommend again or to a friend.
