I assumed the price I paid for it came with the batteries; Especially since there were no instructions for installation. Also the website wasn't very clear or even helpful. I'm glad I came to Revane to make sure I'm not alone in my thoughts. I didn't even know my daughter had bought this item before because it literally ate her pens in just a few uses. I urge anyone reading this review not to waste their money! It would be better to sharpen pencils with your teeth!

This sharpener comes without instructions; I mean how hard it was to understand, right? I have a PhD for Pete! As with every site I've found online for instructions; everyone says the same thing.
