Our 2 year old loves to use scissors. I'm sure this destroys countless important papers - mail bills, paychecks, etc. However, if you let your child use scissors, those are little child's scissors. Pretty safe and well made.

Got these for my grandson and great nephew - both 4. They loved it and were proud to have their own pair of scissors. We were in the clock tower and that's where the man cut off our bracelets at the end of the day. Found it cute and looked to Revane to find it. Yes I would buy again.

My daughter loves them! They work well and are pretty safe - she's in a state of endless experimentation, so she's tried some not-so-cool moves - cutting clothes, toys, and even her own skin. Scissors cut paper, not the rest! What a relief! I hope it stays that way! The edges are fairly well protected. A good product!

I have these scissors with crochet hooks that I can use for quick cuts when necessary. I can't believe they cost $8 online. Wow. I bought mine from Michael on sale for 99 cents. That's why I bought them. cheap and cute! I would never buy them for $8 but when you see them for 99 cents. Yes, good deal, very convenient.
