I like the IR on the data storage

I bought it a year ago and was so happy with the system that I bought 2 more cameras. I like IR the most because the cameras have a great picture with the least trace of light. And I had no problems until I restarted the dash cam, forgot the password and couldn't come back. So I sent a message to Zosya and 5 minutes later I was back. Thank you Zosie

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Everything is fine

The description is misleading.

They are not new and are not covered under WD's warranty. They have not been used but were manufactured February 2012 and are OEM units so WD will not cover them if something goes wrong. that these are WD drives, I saved them and used them in the DVR. Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Too blunt

I bought this hard drive for a small security system, initially formatted the drive fine and recorded a few hours, the next day it stopped recording, the next day I formatted it again and left 3 weeks work. I came back and after hearing the horrible noise he was making I decided to see what was being recorded, NOTHING was being recorded. When I found the drive wasn't writing anything I formatted it again but that didn't work and after rebooting and trying again to no avail I threw it in the…

DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY! BIG MISTAKE!

Do not buy! I bought it for my home security system and after two weeks it started making loud grinding noises and stopped working. THE MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU! This tells you that you have a 1 year manufacturer warranty when you receive it, but that is not the case! Whoever bought them for sale at Revain bought them many years ago, so the warranty was only valid for one year after that. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Updates

I bought this hard drive for a small security system, the drive was well formatted at first and recorded for several hours, then the next day it stopped recording, the next day I formatted it again and it works on 3 weeks. I came back and after hearing the horrible noise he was making I decided to see what was being recorded, NOTHING was being recorded. When I found the drive wasn't writing anything I formatted it again but that didn't work and after rebooting and trying again to no avail I…

Western Digital AV 500GB for Zosi Camera System

This is the buy recommendation for the Zosi Camera System I bought and it doesn't work. Hard drive not formatted and useless Revain was good and give credit to my account I. Gift certificate form for 3rd party products but the problem is still I have system with no working hard drive. I have contacted technical support via email but no corrective action yet. Email from tech support is useless. No help available so I think I'm stuck with a junk hard drive. I have to look elsewhere for a solution

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Doubtful
