VN-500 flow meter with best connections

You won't find a more convenient regulator/flow meter than this. I bought the VN-500 because newer azeotropes like R-410A are becoming more common. With the VN-500, you can quickly and easily go from purging, supplying the right amount of nitrogen to braze, and then quickly pressurize your job to any pressure up to 500psi. Tools that are easy to use are used every time.

I would never admit that to any of the guys but: I've had times where I missed nitro soldering, only to pressure test and found a leak and had to redo it . Then fret and weld without nitro (shame). To explain. If you don't have such a thing, you'll need to set the regulator to <100psi, then remove the hose and attach the flow regulator to the bottom. to 3-6 psi, then make sure it is flowing properly, weld, remove the hose, remove the flow sensor, reconnect the hose and check the pressure…

Where was this thing?

Received my meter on Saturday and couldn't wait to go to work today to use it. Simply put, I've been waiting for this for a long time. I installed a line today and only needed ONE sensor! No wrenches, no switching hoses back and forth! That thing weighs a ton! RELIABLE! Before connecting I ran some tests. It's really just a hose with an open end. The soldering function was great.
