Essential for traditional lighting set!

If you're using a traditional non-LED kit (which I still often do), these bulbs are an essential component, along with the 500-watt daylight-balanced bulbs.

Rare find, formerly common

Our kitchen table chandelier was a wedding present 55 years ago. No problem when buying dimmable 300W lamps. So far so good with that. He claims to glow for 700 hours so he should get a year from him.

ATTENTION: This lamp lasts less than 200 hours if used 2-4 hours a day.

I ordered a Westinghouse 300W light bulb on August 30, 2021; and it was delivered on September 2, 2021. I have been using this 300w bulb for about 2-4 hours a day as of September 3, 2021. The lightbulb burned out on November 10, 2021. Only the bulb lasted 2 months, about 68 days, about 2-4 hours of daily use, ie about 200 hours, before the bulb burned out with a blackened inner surface.
