I really wanted to give this ceiling fan a higher rating because it looks great. However, it was so loud it felt like an airplane was flying overhead. Our ceilings are 10 feet high and we installed it in the room where our TV is. . If it were mounted on a high vaulted ceiling it might not be so bad. I had to turn the volume up on the TV high enough to block out the noise. We had to send it back.

We bought two and put one in the living room and one in the bedroom. In our house, the wiring was with two hot switches and a return path. So we connected a switch for the light and a switch for the fan blades. This meant we couldn't connect the remote in a way that would control both the light and the fan.
