If you like fries then not for you

Not for you if you like fries. Works surprisingly well with white potatoes. In my experience, it's best to cut a long potato in half and place the FLAT SIDE against the pressure plate. The next tip is to use the PAM strokes on the blades. After a few tries the WALL FACE SET worked better for me to get the boost. Pull mechanically instead of tipping from side to side. Nice gadget for the kitchen. One star off for the price tag. $54 for plastic?

Graters, vegetable cutters and slicers failed

The first time my husband bent the blade I thought it was user error. We then tried slicing the sweet potato and (although it fit perfectly in the small potato space, we could NOT get it through the blades and it kept popping off the table even though we had the suction cup attached well enough to hold it). prying off blades and risking cutting yourself. When we encountered the same issue and had issues with the plastic block slipping and being cut by the blades I gave up.Time to spend more…

Pathetic fries that were already delicious

I'm embarrassed by the positive reviews on this cut. From the first use it was difficult to work with. First you need to cut all of your potatoes into very small pieces to fit in a 3 inch long chamber. I was kind of hoping for a slightly longer roast length. Maybe my expectations were too high judging by the reviews. The blades buckled under the pressure of the first potato. I straightened them out as much as possible and continued with MUCH smaller parts. Eventually I ended up with a batch of…

I can not buy industrial mashed potatoes

I have an illness and can only eat mashed potatoes, which contain almost no spices. So I always peel potatoes, but cutting them into equal portions to cook them is difficult. FYI: Potatoes aren't square, they're round, and they come in many different shapes. So I run them through a Westmark french fry cutter and it does the job just fine. And it's fun, cutting time is fun! I also put apples through. It cleans well, I just rinse the cutter with hot water and clean it. However, it is difficult to

Good product for the price but not amazing does the job decently.

Works well but a bit small. Most russet potatoes will not fit all the way in. I have to cut most potatoes in half or at least cut off one end to fit inside the potatoes. I haven't measured it, but I have a rough idea that it can fit around 4-4.5 inches, and even then it takes quite a bit of force to push it down. It's with regular rusty potatoes, so I'm pretty sure it won't work with sweet potatoes. Pros: - Does the job. - Affordable price. - Changeable grid sizes. Cons: - Only small potatoes.…
