So far so good. in the kitchen and dining room

There are no complaints about this meat grinder. It comes in a beautiful box with all accessories securely wrapped and secured to prevent it from dangling in the box. The meat grinder itself is a little big, but not huge. I had extra countertop space to place it, but I'll probably keep it downstairs in the pantry when not in use. So far we've used it to make both ground beef and hot sausage for breakfast and it works. Excellent. The sausages came out way better than anything JD has ever made…

Powerful, fast, wonderful meat grinder

This Weston grinder is just perfect for my home kitchen. First I took all the pieces apart and washed them thoroughly in warm soapy water before shredding the meat. I can easily buy ground beef or ground pork at the store, so I went with chicken thighs. First I cut the slightly frozen thighs into 1 inch strips and load them into the machine. Surprisingly, he fed him without much effort. During operation, the machine did not make much noise. In fact, he chopped it up before I could add more…

Deafening but effective

I like to make my own homemade sausage, usually pork but sometimes chicken. This is great stuff, and the Kitchen Aid chopper attachment for our blender makes it pretty easy. At least I thought so. I had no idea what easy could be. That is amazing. So incredibly fast. He ground meat faster than I could serve it. We shredded about four pounds of meat (hamburger fillets in this case) in under four minutes. Our old blender isn't nearly as fast. It was easy to assemble and easy to clean. The only…

HOLY COW! What a great car.

In terms of ease of use and cleaning, I haven't found anything that compares. My wife's Kitchen Aid grinder was just given away. There is almost nothing not to like about this car. The neck of this light has a larger cut and fits (and actually works better) with longer strips. That means less time "prepping” and cutting, and the power of this machine means less time sanding too. Disassembly is easy if I "overdo" the meat feed in the mincer. The accompanying sausage maker requires some training…

A great choice for a home grinder

I remember my dad making his own sausage using fresh ham and spices. He ground pork with a manual meat grinder bolted to the table. The meat grinder was used by my mother to make spreads by grinding and mixing ground beef, pickles, mayonnaise and some mustard. A home grinder is a great idea for a number of reasons, not the least of which is being able to prepare fresh ground beef for yourself and knowing what's in it and what "fresh ground beef" actually is. The presence of a meat grinder…
