(Compare measurements to your original lock to make sure its the proper fit). They can also be used for different locking file cabinets with cylinder locks, storage cabinet lock, or desk drawer. The cam lock has a 16mm (5/8") cylinder length with a 18mm diameter. The cam can be installed on the lock at the 3, 6, 9, or 12 o'clock position and opens with a 90 degree turn. The lock is non-key retaining, allowing you to remove the key from the locked and unlocked position.
