🐜 Fia WF923-12 Custom Fit Winter Front/Bug Screen: The Ultimate Protection for Your Vehicle Review

I bought this for a friend for Christmas and he loves it. Says it works very well even though he lives in Phoenix, Arizona so care must be taken when using winter protection as his engine overheats in warmer climates.

I used metal latches but need to drill into the grille. After that they fit tight and look great. I plan to use insect screens in the summer so the latches on the trellis don't matter. Generally good quality, it was caked in road salt and quickly washed away.

I'm only giving it 4 stars because I had a shipping issue for 1 (which was resolved very quickly) and for 2 because the 3m tape they put on the back of the tabs to secure the lid on your grill it's not worth shit to attach, but other than that it's very nice and the winter cover is quite thick and does the job well.

I haven't read other reviews, but I've had very good experiences with insect screens and winter rugs. I'm finishing my 2nd summer with a bug screen and will be switching to a blanket soon. The only problem I've encountered is the failure of one of the fasteners that hold the grill body in place. I have not installed this yet as the extreme temperatures are too high and I need to remove the bug repellent first. I ordered a set of screws based on the negative reviews for the glue. There is a little wiggle room to put screws in the right places but the quality of the product is very good. This can be worked out for several models, my 2008 is a little behind but still doable.
