So I bought this because the original pipe is of very poor quality. I don't know why MB chose to use a semi-plastic tube there. This tube still works great. The only problem I had was the installation. I had to cut off about 1 inch.

Installed in seconds. High quality molded hose, seems to be holding up. Definitely won't die from overheating as the OEM SHOULD be made. However, the supplied disposable clamps had to be opened beyond the maximum to fit the hose once it was installed with the fitting in it.

What can I say. The original part broke down during the long drive from Florida to New York in our 2014 Mercedes Benz C250. I taped the hose together for the rest of the trip and ordered a replacement for that silicone hose when I got home. This hose is of the highest quality and far superior to the Mercedes hose. Fits perfectly and is a very inexpensive upgrade.

Mercedes-Benz C250 air intake will fail resulting in check engine lights and poor driveability. This part repairs the part of the duct that is broken. Replacing the entire duct is kind of a project and part is only available at the dealer and there are hundreds of them. This is a much simpler and less expensive solution that gives similar results (eliminates air leaks!). Highly recommended.
