Bought this bike to replace a broken one.

Bought this wheel to replace a damaged wheel on my wife's old Schwinn MTB. This bike is way better than expected. Definitely worth the money.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Doubtful

Check the bearings and you'll need rim tape

Fits perfectly replacing my 26" wheel with a Shimano 7 speed freehub. You need to check the bearing setting. Mine was too tight and had to be loosened a bit. You will also need a rim strip to protect the camera. Otherwise it seems to be a good wheel.

Pros
  • That's great
Cons
  • I don't really like it, it's ok

Bearings are too tight!

Rim fits perfectly on 2010 Trek 820. No dangling spokes and straight out of the box. The freewheel also does not hang on the threads. The only problem was that these bearings were ridiculously overtightened. To the point where the wheel barely turned, I heard and felt it. Not a problem if you know how to adjust the bearing preload on a hub, but definitely worth knowing if you're unfamiliar with such things.

Pros
  • Outstanding all-round performance
Cons
  • Easily repairable
