This product looks great, but I still have to squeeze it tight.

This product looks great but I still have to squeeze it tight to put it on the bike stem to inflate the tires. I believe these are the discs I have but they work. I only use them to air and undress before a trip.

Make Your Life Easier!: Tire & Wheel Tools

I bought a set of these tools to help access the valve stems on my Yamaha Roadstar. Running a pressure gauge and air hose between the spokes to check or inflate tires is a real pain. These 90 degree adapters make the job easier. You just go, you check/fill and take them off. Just. However, I don't recommend leaving them on all the time.

  • Easy Installation

Exactly what I needed.

I haven't had any of the leakage issues others have reported. They fit perfectly on my Schrader valves so I can easily fill my Bonneville's spoked wheels. They don't ruin the look of the bike and at least encourage me to keep the pressure right. I would buy them again. They are good value for money and I would recommend them to friends.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

  • Not bad

Is the balance right? - Tire and wheel tools

I put these on my bike but I was having trouble balancing the tires so I took them off. I do NOT know if they have anything to do with it. I ended up swapping the front wheel. Balancing tires on motorcycles isn't something I wanted to mess with. They look great but I didn't want to risk ruining the good balance I ended up getting. This is on a 2014 Yamaha FJR 1300ES.

They fit my rear and outer dual RV tires.

This product is marked as a front wheel on the packaging and I don't know why. I use it for my external dual rear camper tires as the stem is rubber and flexes to take pressure as it is very close to the hub so difficult to access with a tube. When they are installed, air will come out of the tire and require a wrench to tighten and then more air. It comes with caps. I believe this opens the tire's valve and in the air section they have their own valve as it is 90 degrees. It works well as I…

I strongly advise against buying them!

I highly recommend it. DO NOT BUY THIS! I installed it on my 2012 Harley Ultra Classic and they blew the needle valves on BOTH tires. I have a flat tire on the street. Luckily I was able to do the repair myself and replace the valves on both tires for $3, but there is no reason why this should have happened (e.g. rotational friction, improper installation, or other impact on the valves). I mounted them close to the rims to make sure they wouldn't rub or catch on anything when spinning, and…

Motorcycle rear tires - only used to check/add air.

I have no idea why they do this, but the tall rubber air valves on some motorcycle tires don't leave enough room to use a hand pump or some gas station air pumps so we can easily add air the tires. On my 2007 Honda ST1300 I use them to check the pressure and add air if needed. YOU CANNOT LEAVE THIS ATTACHED TO THE GRUB VALVE! I can only imagine the damage a rubber valve can do. They make low profile metal valves for bikes and the next time I have a tire change I'll buy them as I might not need…
