I've used a three monitor setup with IR head tracking and all the physical tools for years, but it doesn't match the experience you get with this relatively simple setup. Here I installed a wheel stand with just the pedal and rocker. Everything else is virtual through Vive. Thanks to the design of the stand, the physical doesn't prevent you from taking virtual instruments. I fly both the real plane and this simulation and let me tell you, with a good computer it's pretty close. I fly by hanging

based on some other reviews that this would work with the Honeycomb yoke as I believe it's much better than the Saitek/Logitech yoke for that it was developed. As you can see from the photos I used the mounting clips that came with the honeycomb to easily attach it to the plate/bar that normally screws into the Logitech clamp. It turns out this works great.
