The perfect accessory for X-Plane 11 Beta VR

I've used a three monitor setup with IR head tracking and all the physical tools for years, but it doesn't match the experience you get with this relatively simple setup. Here I installed a wheel stand with just the pedal and rocker. Everything else is virtual through Vive. Thanks to the design of the stand, the physical doesn't prevent you from taking virtual instruments. I fly both the real plane and this simulation and let me tell you, with a good computer it's pretty close. I fly by hanging the left Vive controller on my left wrist while controlling with this hand. PTT and autopilot are disabled and only take control when I need to manipulate something on the bottom left panel (like turning the aircraft lights on or off or heating up the pitot). The right hand is all virtual controls, and of course my feet are on the pedals. There is a slight screen door effect with the GPS screen in particular, but if you move your head a little closer everything is very easy to read and with one hand on the physical yoke with the right trim or on autopilot it's not a problem. I can't wait for the next generation of VR headsets to come out with even better resolution. The stand itself was packaged well and included a QR code link to a YouTube video demonstrating how to install the stand. I was up in 20 minutes. The product is very durable and well made.
